SMS Messaging & Consent

Mellott.US is a private personal cloud at mellott.us. Text messages are sent only to people who hold an account on it, about that account and the services behind it. There is no marketing program, no mailing list, and no third-party recipients. Phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

• Sign-in verification codes — a one-time code when you sign in, if you choose SMS as your second factor.
• Account and service alerts — operational notices about your own services, such as a failed mail delivery, an expiring certificate, or a security event.

Text the keyword START to +17753647128 from the mobile number you want messages sent to. You will receive a confirmation message back.

Account holders can also enable SMS from Settings → Notifications after signing in. Either way, no message is ever sent to a number that has not opted in.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately — you will get one confirmation and then nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below. Opting out of messages does not close your account, and you can resubscribe at any time by texting START again.

Message frequency varies and is driven by your own activity — typically a few messages per month, plus one code each time you sign in with SMS two-factor authentication enabled. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers do not guarantee delivery of any individual message.

Use of the service is governed by our Terms of Service. Phone numbers are stored only to deliver the messages described above and are handled under our Privacy Policy.
